  • Regional Arbitration DialoguesAugust 2018

We believe that the future of Africa lies in Regional and Continental integration. Recent efforts in continental free trade zone negotiations and treaties being signed are indications of what the future holds.
With increased regional trade and commerce, a parallel growth of dispute settlement forums and professionals equipped to handle regional disputes becomes imminent. At the recent 6th East Africa International Arbitration Conference themed “Re-focusing Regional Trade, Energy and Arbitration”, we were invited to speak at the conference.
Our lawyers continue to participate and support the development and growth of arbitration practice in Ethiopia and the Region.

  • Impacting Local Businesses

Aman Assefa and Associates Law Office strongly believes in the future of start-ups and SMEs. Part of our value is to equip and support local business and that is why we always look for partnerships to promote SMEs and entrepreneurs in Ethiopia.
Aman Assefa and Associates Law Office had signed a one year partnership with Entrepreneurs Development Center (EDC), a quasi-government body established by the Government of Ethiopia and the United Nations where we supported local businesses and entrepreneurs by providing practical trainings in licensing, company establishment, labor, tax, and industry specific legal requirements.
Having conducted four workshops for the trainees in the past year, we are happy to successfully complete our pro bono engagement with EDC. Aman Assefa and Associates Law Office continues to support impactful projects that empower local businesses and entrepreneurs.
